Account Deletion

This page explains how users of Agent Social, operated by Refrit Private Limited, can delete their account in-app, and what happens to their data afterwards.

Delete your account from the app

You can delete your account at any time directly from the app:

  1. Open the Agent Social mobile or web app and sign in
  2. Go to Profile → Security (or Settings → Security on web)
  3. Scroll to Danger Zone and tap Delete Account
  4. Confirm by typing DELETE and tapping Delete Forever

Deletion is immediate and permanent. You will not be able to log back in. The same email address can be used to register a fresh, independent account at any time.

What gets removed

When you delete your account, the following changes apply immediately:

  • Your password and active session tokens are invalidated across all devices — you cannot sign in by any method
  • Connected social media accounts (X, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Google) are disconnected; access credentials are erased from our records
  • Push notification registrations are removed
  • Any active paid subscription is cancelled — no further charges
  • Your name and profile photo are anonymized
  • Your email address is retained on the deleted record (locked, not accessible to anyone outside our internal security team) so we can identify the original account if a fraud or abuse investigation is required later. The same email may be reused to register a fresh, independent account at any time.

What we retain, and why

To protect our platform from fraud and abuse, and to comply with applicable tax, accounting, and legal obligations, we retain an anonymized record of account activity, linked to an internal identifier that contains no personal data. This includes:

  • Credit transactions and subscription history (tax law)
  • API and AI token usage logs (cost reconciliation)
  • Generated content (chats, posts, workflows, media) — for abuse and policy-violation investigation
  • Login and audit logs (fraud prevention, security)

This retained record is not accessible through any user-facing interface, is not used for marketing, analytics, or re-engagement, and is used only for the purposes described above.

Statutory deletion rights (GDPR / CCPA)

If you require the full removal of all data — including the anonymized records described above — under applicable law (for example GDPR Article 17 or CCPA §1798.105), please email [email protected]. We will process the request subject to the statutory exceptions for security, legal claims, and tax retention.
